Motorola EM1000R 20-Mile 2-Way FRS/GMRS Radio, Pair Review
![]()
We just love our new Walky-Talky, 2-way radio from Motorola. Easy to use and practical. Directions for using them took a little while to figure out. But, love, love, love the flash light, emergency alert and weather features in them. Handy size for purse or pocket. Durable and attractive. Has a good looking charger base that can be left visable in a room. You can’t go wrong with these for 2-way communication.
We use them when traveling with 2 cars, and when one of us is out working in the yard and the other is in the house. Wonderful device!

Does not come with Charger or Rechargable batt. pack
– Lindsey Rose – Chicago, IL
These would be a great deal, IF they came with recharger cord and batt. pack…..but they dont. So they aren’t really worth it!
Terrible for Ski/Snowboarding – J. Hwang –
These do not work on the mountain. Both handsets shut off randomly when I have them latched to my backpack. The cold weather causes them to shut off completely. Any humidity causes them to shut off completely. These are absolutely worthless if you plan on wearing them outside of your clothes in the cold.
Signal lost sometimes – Henry Perez –
The only complain i have about this, is the distance. Sometimes i’m in the second floor and can’t get the transmission done, but another times it works just fine in the same conditions. I’d like to know why is that.
